When we create a log-file (--log-file=...) that file has rw permissions for the owner and no permissions for group and other. Somebody was suggesting to change the permissions such that group also has read access. That seems like a reasonable request to me and I can see how that may facilitate certain workflows. I was wondering whether anybody sees a problem with that change. It looks benign to me. Florian |
