Hello, A question: are the slides of the FOSDEM 2007 presentation about Valgrind available online ? See also http://video.fosdem.org/2006/FOSDEM2006-valgrind.avi Regards, Bart Van Assche. |

To all you brilliant developers out there, I am here as a bit of a novice. After taking a Security Class last semester, I am feeling that I want to start a dynamic binary analysis project. I read quite a few papers and found the one on Valgrind to be very readable and descriptive, and with valgrind being free, I wanted to give it a shot. I was looking up on the Project suggestion page, for new projects to try, but I am at a loss at what is a good first project. A little basic things about me, I am a C++/java developer with 4 years work experience with masters degree behind my belt. I was hoping for a project thats I can do to both test my skills without completely overwealming me, while not wanting to repeat what everyone else is doing. (kinda boring if all the help I find online is the ones with the completed codes of the one I am doing). I am in between consulting jobs right now so I can spend a few days (3-5) devoted to this (between interviews ofcourse). If any of you have a good suggestion, let me know. Thanks in advance Victor |

Hang on, didn't we decide that this wasn't the right thing to do? I can't
