Adding support for a new architecture is usually not trivial, so someone will have to dedicate quite some work for it. For that reason, it's unlikely that historic (retro) platforms such as Alpha are going to be supported in the near future - unless someone finds a way to have AI's write the code. There are more architectures such as PA-RISC, Motorola 68k, SuperH and SPARC that are currently not supported by Valgrind either, so it's not just Alpha. I'm maintaining Debian on old and exotic architectures in Debian Ports and if you're actively working on Alpha, it would be great if you could join our IRC channel (#debian-ports on OFTC).
