Nope, the CVS situation hasn't improved :-)

I still can't retrieve sources from CVS:

Logging in to :pserver:ano...@cv...:2401/cvsroot/valgrind
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

Does it actually work for you?  I had the impression the cvs
server's been down for weeks.
