Works fine.  With this suppression rule:

{
   nvidia_1.0_3123_008
   Memcheck:Value16
   fun:__nvsym04804
}

valgrind's log now just reports:

--17277-- supp:  306 nvidia_1.0_3123_008

in the suppression summary.
