I want to confirm developers' hunch that the new stack
segment detecting code fixes RHAS problem as well.
Thanks a bundle for investigating this in the first
place!

Detect the stack segment at startup in a more robust
way. This fixes segfaults caused by random stack
placement in Gentoo at high security levels. It might
also help on Red Hat Advanced Server v2.1.
