Anil, Try again with the current trunk (valgrind r13860, vex r2837). There have been many improvements and it is now possible to run large apps (eg, Firefox) on Memcheck with very few false positives. This is the first point at which you can reasonably use it for debugging real code. SIMD instruction set support is still incomplete, but is improving.
