I think the fact that this is somewhat of a niche item, plus the potential
slowdown.  But, no matter.  Can you tell me exactly the set of patches
that I should review/try out?  I'll try to get some feedback to you by
early next week.

I looked at that before now, but didn't come to much conclusion.  Personally
I would also like ARM to benefit from that, since that's a target on which
I run large codes on relatively low-powered hardware.
