[Valgrind-developers] statically-linked libraries

Hello.
I am a student of Institute for System Programming in Russia. I have a some problems with valgrind.

Why libraries pub_tool_libcassert.h, pub_tool_libcbase.h, pub_tool_libcfile.h and other are statically-linked libraries? Every instrument uses this libraries. And if this libraries will be dynamic link libraries it led to decrease size of binary files.
