The patch attached to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136300 is 
from Red Hat anyway so I assume they will ship it in their version of
Valgrind for RHEL5.  I'll look at committing it to the trunk, but I
think you can assume it's not a big deal.  

Since nobody is running nightly builds on a 64k-page ppc system right 
now, we have no way to detect any future breakage to this functionality.
So it's really up to you guys to ensure this stuff works and stays
working.
