I have set for all my mailman based lists that only list members may write to the list, and everything else has to be admin approved and can only then be send to the list. This reduced spam amount to zero, since no spammer seems to try to register to a mailinglist. But the drawback is that it adds some administration overhead, you have to regularily clean up the pending mails etc.... But you can also add people to whitelists who are registered to receive on one address only and send from multiple ones. greets Dennis |
