Strangely enough, this morning it would not behave in the same way. abort.log is a copy+paste off my xterm of the abort I had last night. uninited.log is the log I get this morning with the error (but no crash). I will try and reproduce the crash and see what it depends on. I should say that my original test did run OK (with the uninited errors) for a while (26 tests were fine) before programs started crashing (every single one).
