Hi, I followed the suggestion and got the latest version from the repository. As with 2.4.1-ppc, I had to edit configure script since line number 3863 "kernel=`uname -r`" comes back with Solaris 2.8 and that doesn't match either 2.6 or 2.4 . Then I tried to make. This is the error I get: ------------------------ begin of log ----------------------- make all-recursive make[1]: Entering directory `/home/fsv003/NewValgrind/valgrind' Making all in include make[2]: Anyone have a clue why this is failing? Thanks in advance, Srikanth PS: Svn didn't like going through the company firewall so I had to download at home (windows) and extract here on unix. So I had to do that dos2unix conversion which shouldn't be a cause of the problem I'm seeing. But you never know. -----Original Message----- From: Nicholas Nethercote [mailto:nj...@cs...] Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 9:18 AM To: Vedire Srikanth-FSV003 Cc: val...@li... You might have more luck with the PPC support in the current CVS repository; the problematic code is no longer in there. Nick |
