Hi all, I've been using valgrind for several years now, and have found it an extremely useful and powerful tool. Unfortunately when I try to use the latest version (2.2.0) I'm getting this strange error: valgrind: do_exec(/afs/cern.ch/atlas/software/dist/9.0.3/InstallArea/share/bin/ athena.py) failed: Exec format error Can anyone give me a clue what this means? I don't see it with valgrind-20031012 (which I believe is a version patched by CERN IT to work with machines with a virtual memory limit (see bug 93497). I can't see how this could be related but, I'm mentioning it just in case. I compiled valgrind using gcc 3.2.3. Thanks a lot for any help - I really would like to be able to use the newer tools, such as AddrCheck and Massif. Cheers, Ed |
