After several reports at eclipse-plugins.2y.net, I too
can't get the plugin to work. I thought I'd report it here,
instead of another message at that site.

Plug-in org.eclipse.v4all was unable to load class ....

When trying to start a new Visual Editor:
org.eclipse.v4all.base.CreationWizard

When accessing the preferences page:
org.eclipse.v4all.V4ALLPreferencePage

eclipse: 2.1.1 build 200306271545
GEF (+sdk):2.1.1 build 200306180934
OS: windows 2000 sp3
V4all: 2.1.1.2

    Hi,

I've tested the new version on same OS.

I suggest you to do this :
    - remove GEF components from eclipse/features and
    eclipse/plugins directory,
    - idem for V4ALL (do not forget to delete the xml file in
    eclipse/plugins directory)
    - install the new version (2_1_1_5)
    - launch eclipse and test.

    Hope that help.

Just edit the classpath of the examples project to point to
the right location and it will rock as expected !
    Best Regards,
    Patrick
