This is a difficult one. I've been toying with the idea to just have one of 
us manage a master copy and have new versions emailed in. This person could 
then retain the files in a local source repository to keep a history. This 
is what Raphael and I did for WPME.

It worked, but required fixed ownership of individual files and didn't quite 
work when cross references to other files were added (because the new 
cross-reference required a change in the target file).

We could also setup a closed Yahoo group (which has a limited file upload 
facility) which could be used as a staging area for new version uploads.

But...having a cvs repository would be best...

If Raphael is happy to do this then I think we should try it. I don't want 
to burden Raphael with maintenance though.

We could start to save only the last versions of files (I don't know if this 
is possible in CVS). This would mean that we lose history but limit the disk 
usage. We would still have the benefit of a shared repository that is easily 
updatable for everyone.
