Meo,
Hi - I've been enhacing ux2html to recognise the
differences between Tru64 versions - V3.2 through to V5.1B-6.
I've completed most of the changes, and I'd like to
forward you the results for possible incorporation as a 1.4
release.
Specifically, it now recognised the release family, V3, V4 or V5, the
appropriate clustering product (ASE/PS or TruCluster), and adjusts
the commands it runs to suit the environment - things like LSM,
asemgr, hwmgr, sizer and so on.
Why do I bother with Tru64 ?
Well, I'm one of the developer group for FreeAXP, the
free Alphaserver 400 emulator for Windows, and my area is
FreeAXP's Tru64 support. I therefore run and test V3.2C up to V5.1B-6 on
the emulator, and with that, I/we've been experimenting with ux2html as a
light
weight alternative to sys_check.
