utAssert.eq_refc_query problem

Hi all,

I got an "already existing" error when running
utAssert.eq_refc_query.

After looking into the code and debugging it, I figured
out that the installation of the script "ut_plsql_util.pkb"
is the reason for the bug.

The procedure utplsql_util.execute_ddl contains wrong
installation hints for the different Oracle versions. The
variables &start73 and &start81 are commented (--).
This leads to an uncommented comment and to the
situation that the DDL statement (which is CREATE
TABLE) is executed twice :-(

Thank you,
Frank

Does it all work nicely if those comments are removed? If so,
then I make those changes to the source right now.

The problem with the double execution will be solved.

However, I still have problems with the
    utAssert.eq_refc_query functionaliy, like this ...

    SQL Failure:
    ORA-06550: line 5, column 45:
    PLS-00201: identifier 'UTPLSQL.UTPLSQL_TEMP_19' must be
    declared
    ORA-06550: line 3, column 16:
    PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    ORA-06550: line 2, column 17:
PLS-00341: declaration of cursor 'CUR' is incomplete or
    malformed
    ORA-06550: line 8, column 15:
    PL/SQL: Item ignored
    ORA-06550: line 11, column 26:
PLS-00320: the declaration of the type of this expression is
    incomplete or
    malformed
    ORA-06550: line 11, column 11:
    PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored

I am trying to find out the problem and will open another bug
if there is a bug or I will laugh because I was unable to use
    the function correct ;-)

    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

Frank, if and when you get this sorted out, how about writing
some documentation for eq_refc_query? I don't think there is
    any at the moment...
