The UNI-T UT61D is a decent low-cost multimeter with a data acquisition interface. It comes bundled with USB and RS232 cables. This project supports both.

The interface works nicely on Linux (including on the Raspberry pi). Although I haven't tested it, with the USB cable it should work on any platform supported by libusb (which is most of them). The RS232 code is unfortunately not as portable.

The project was started in October 2013 by Örjan Wennbom.

See the [Readme] for more introduction.

I have also documented my findings about the [protocol].
