I once ran 81 UML's on a Dual Opteron 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM. They where
all on the same 160GB SATA Disk. They used the debian testing user-mode
linux kernel and had from 64 to 128 MB of memory each. It worked, But the
consoles where naturally quite sloppy. The CPU's spent alot of time
waiting for disk IO. I cut down to 41 UML's and that works quite allright
in a sysadmin class as long as i.e only 10 of them have heavy user
