I am trying to treat my UML instances as real RedHat installations. As
such I would like to use the up2date feature that comes with RedHat to
update the installed base to keep it current. My problem is that up2date
will not install some packages due to not having the right kernel
installed. Does anyone know of a way to put a fake entry into the RPM
database so that it installs all packages without regard to the kernel?
