If I follow the walkthtoug, and configure my system like descriped, I
get an errormessage, if I start my UML and the eth0 interface is not
started, because I don=B4t provide an IP! The message is:
SIOCSFLAGS: Invalid Argument
Failed to bring up eth0.
SIOCADDRT: No such device
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
I used the user_mode_linux-18.104.22.1685um-0.i386.rpm and as root fs the
root_fs.rh-7.2-full Filesystem. As Hostsystem, I=B4m using a RedHat 7.3
System with kernel 2.4.18-5
I'd like to use the ddd graphical frontend to gdb, but it's not working for
me. gdb works fine on its own or through the XEmacs frontend, but ddd is not
working for me.
I did the following steps :
1. start ddd
2. run 'ps -ef' and note the gdb PID that ddd has started.
3. run '/usr/src/uml/linux/linux debug gdb-pid='<gdb PID noted from step 2>
4. go to ddd and do 'att 1'. At this point, ddd tells me "Att : waiting for
gdb to get ready", but another run of 'ps -ef' shows that gdb is '<defunct>'
(apparently it died somehow).
