I use Debian 2.2 on UML. It works otherwise fine but init hogs all CPU
time (top shows some CPU time usage and ps aux|grep init says init is
always running). Processes hogging CPU time on host machine are linux
[(tracing thread)] and linux [init]. Init doesn't either care about
signals it normally responds somehow to (e.g. telinit q does nothing).
I tried to use strace on init (linux mem=32m ubd0=root.img
init="/usr/bin/strace /sbin/init") but in that case init refused to
I also tried to remove some useless stuff from inittab but the problem
If I pass -b option to init it works fine, so it still might be my
inittab (http://retiisi.dyndns.org/~sailus/inittab) or what init does
without -b option...
UML version is 2.4.17-14um.
Has anyone seen this before?

My only suggestion is to try newer versions to see if the problem

Your mouse has moved.
Windows NT must be restarted for the change to take effect.
Reboot now? [OK]
