I am trying to create a working version of uml on a 188.8.131.52 kernel. I adde=
the skas3 patch to the host kernel, compiled it, installed the uml-utilitie=
and then compiled the guest kernel after addeing the uml patch. The linux
binary is created alright but when I execute the uml, it hangs (stops
booting ) as shown:
[root@... linux-184.108.40.206]# ./linux ubd0=3Droot_fs_slack8.1
Checking PROT_EXEC mmap in /tmp...OK
Checking for /proc/mm...found
Checking for the skas3 patch in the host...found
UML running in SKAS3 mode
It hangs after above statement. I tried with Debian, redhat 9.0, mandrake
root file systems with the same result. Has anyone has an idea bout what's
going on and how I should proceed from here?
Thanks in advance,

Add stderr=1 to the command line and see what it says.
