A little oddity has come up to do with setting the time in UML.
Setting the time appears to work, but it doesn't appear to reset all
time instances. Eg
# uname -r
Wed Apr 9 19:20:26 GMT 2003
# date -s 'Wed Apr 9 23:00:00 GMT 2003'
Wed Apr 9 23:00:00 GMT 2003
# touch z
# ls -l z
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 9 19:21 z
Wed Apr 9 23:00:17 GMT 2003
The file z should have the current time (23:00) not the original time
So if you set the system time in UML it appears to work. However
filing system modification times are still at the old (system) time.
I haven't tried this on the latest UML - there doesn't appear to be
anything relevant in the changelogs though.
