I'm new to uml-linux. Probably this have been already answered, but I could find no trace of it in the faq, and searching with google on geocrawler yielded no results.
I'm using the "root_fs_debian2.2_small" after despairing to create my own install from slack 8.1. When booting (see command line at end of mail) the machine appears to freeze until I press return or the space bar. The perfect example is while doing a fsck. It stops at 20%, then 25%, then 30%. It's only an example, because it does this even while doing init without fsck.
One workaround for the init stage was running it with screen and let it work on a background screen, but it doesn't work for doing an apt-get.
It looks like an I/O affair.
