I am using UML to try and debug IPv6 and IPSec6
implementation in the USAGI
(http://www.linux-ipv6.org/) kernel tree. I found the
UML to be a great tool, and was truly impressed. Good
But there is a wrinkle.... One of the things the UML
patch does is to disable/remove many configuration
classes in the kernel config. Which is understandable,
for why would a UML virtual machine need to have, say,
USB support. However, one of the things that are gone
is the Crypto Modules option. I believe that it is
only available in the internation kernel
(www.kerneli.org) and not in the stock kernel, and of
course in the USAGi tree. How can I get this option
back in the UML config? Without this, I can not test
IPSec. Although, IPv6 and IPSec do compile and are
initialized in the kernel, without the crypto modules
I can't have a working SA.
