I know this isn't strictly a UML problem, but I know that similar (but
not quite the same) questions have been posted to the list before...
I've successfully been running a RH7.3-based UML on my via C3 for some
many months now. I realise the C3 isn't "ideal" for UML by a long shot
but it's what I've got!
I want to upgrade from RH7.3 to FC1 or Bill Stearns latest FC2-test
filesystem, but these filesystems always fail because a cmov is
detected. From reading around the net, I believe this may be related to
glibc builds... Is this right? Either way, is there anything I can do
(rebuild a FEW files or libraries) to get around this situation. The
host is running RH9 so I know the C3 can run "more recent" distros quite
happily when installed by RH's installer.
Other than installing fc2test to the host then copying the / to a
mounted filesystem-on-file, is there any way I can achieve this?
