I have posted this on the UML user forum, but I believe this
more appropriate here.
For our project, we use kernel 2.4.17 with the LSM (Linux
Module) patch, which adds hooks to kernel system calls. We use this to
make a kernel module that we then load.
I have found some info on how to patch the kernel with both the
LSM patch. But when I run UML, loading our module with one version of
our module results in a kernel panic (memory page fault adress I think),
and the newer version creates a "symbol not found" error. Strangely,
both version work outside UML with the kernel patched only with the LSM
So my question is, is this normal that I get such problems?
