I'm not sure how many people are trying to use UML in SMP mode, but
I've been having issues with the console. Using the console connected to
fd:0,fd:1, or with an xterm (I've not tried it with anything else at the
moment), I can login, and maybe run 'ps' or cat, then it quits reading
input - When you kill UML, and it drops back to the host shell, whatever
you typed appears, so UML must not be reading. UML itself doesn't lock
up, as I can still use uml_mconsole, so I assume there must be a SMP
issue with reading from stdin/out.
A backtrace looks rather boring, as it's just the basic loop UML does;
#0 0xa01a26d1 in __libc_nanosleep ()
#1 0xa017ba4c in idle_sleep (secs=10) at time.c:111
#2 0xa017f94a in cpu_idle () at process_kern.c:432
#3 0xa000d532 in rest_init () at init/main.c:555
#4 0xa00037c4 in start_kernel () at init/main.c:645
#5 0xa017de31 in start_kernel_proc (unused=0x0) at um_arch.c:121
#6 0xa017cea1 in signal_tramp (arg=0xa017dde8) at trap_user.c:95
Anyone got any suggestions as to how to debug this a little better?
