Hey everyone! Got a little problem with installing slack9.1. I've been following the instructions at http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/slack_readme.html .
All works fine until I get to step7. This is where it asks you to fdisk on ubd1.
So I run it, and all I get is: Unable to read ubd1
If I run it against ubd0 I get the ususal fdisk stuff. (ubd0 is the uml slackware installation kit).
When I look in /dev I see all three ubd devices (ub0:slack install kit, ubd1:target root_fs, and ubd2:cdrom)
I've tried created the filesystem while in the host "mke2fs root_fs" and that worked fine. When I try to run it during the slack uml install I get:
# mke2fs /dev/ubd1
mke2fs 1.15, 18-Jul-1999 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
/dev/ubd1: Invalid argument passed to ext2 library while setting up superblock
Sure wish I could get this to work! :)
