Running gdb inside the kernel and having it hit a breakpoint causes a crash.
Running gdb on this program:
setting a breakpoint in main, and running it causes this panic:
Kernel panic: Double fault on 0x400ebeac - panicing because it wasn't fixed the first time
What's odd is that the faulting ip is not the breakpoint ip, but there is an int3 right before it. There is also an int3 on the breakpoint ip, so somehow, an extra int3 is being written into the process.
