    Hi,

      I tried to run USE in my Mac but did't run. No problem running same version in linux (ubuntu 10) . I wonder if some people are using it inMac without problems?

    thanks

    Hi,

    for version 2.5.0 we fixed the shell script to run on MaxOS. After this fix, one student used it successfully under MacOS.
    Are there any messages or something else we can use to narrow down the error?

    Regards,

    Lars

    I'm using version 2.5.0, java 1.6.0_15 and Mac OS X 10.6

    I got the next messages:

    $ use
    ./use: line 35: [: /Users/carlos: binary operator expected

    We might have found the error: Do you have spaces in the path to USE?
    There is a problem with that and we are trying to fix it for the next release. For now, you should avoid spaces in path names.

    yep, that worked.  The path was:
    /Users/carlos 1/apps/use-2.5.0

    I couldn't  change the user name directory (was created restoring a full backup)… so I moved to:
    /Applications/use-2.5.0

    Thanks a lot.
