I am interesting to use the USE-plugin's architecture.   I realized that this a new feature added to the last version. I would appreciate if you provide an explanation or a short tutorial which helps me in adding some reasoning feature to the USE tool.

    Hi Azzam,

the source folder of USE contains some example plugins. You can use them as a starting point.
There exists a small tutorial in the diploma thesis of the student who developed the plugin architecture, but it is written in German.

Basically, you have to look at three central parts of the example plugins:

    1. The file MANIFEST.MF inside of the folder META-INF
    2. The file useplugin.xml inside of the root folder
    3. The used Java classes for actions, commands, etc.

Using Eclipse you can export your plugin project as a jar file (using the defined MANIFEST.MF file) to the ./lib/plugins folder of your used USE version. After starting USE you should be able to use your plugin.

Is there an official source for this diploma thesis - even-though it is in german ?
