Hi! I'm trying to get my Kworld USB tv tuner to work under Mandrake Linux but it recognizes it as an Intel PC Cam. All Linux distros and including Windows think it is. I'm guessing it has to do with the same FCC code. It is VendorId:ProductId 0733:0430. On Windows, I have to download a driver spca506a in order for it to work. It uses both the spca506a driver and the WDM Video Capture driver. The question is where do I get these drivers and compile it for it to work under Mandrake? You can find more info on my tv tuner here: http://www.kworld.com.tw/products/pro03/kwtvusb506rf-pro.htm The site is slow so you got to wait a while for it to load.

I posted a message at http://spca506a.sourceforge.net and one of the members there told me to download a tool called SnoopyPro and then post the log here. I've uploaded the log to my account at http://www.geocities.com/joeyvan786/SPCA506A_WDM_Video_Capture.xml It is in XML format since Geocities wouldn't allow usblog or txt files. I hope this is useful. I hope someone can do something smart with this log and make it compatible with Linux. Please respond asap. Thank you!

I think the intention was to mail to the
      spca50x mailing list.. :-)
