In principle usbpicprog should be able to detect the device as it
connects to the programmer. When you say autodetect, it should try
to identify the connected target again. If you have used software /
firmware 0.4.1, there is a known bug that it doesn't autodetect some
16F devices. If this is the case please upgrade to 0.4.2-beta.<br>
You can also test the voltages on all the programming pins, using
the option IO_Test under Options. Just measure all the pins using a
multimeter.<br>

shows bootloader v1.0 connected in usbpicprog software.</font></div>
