Dear Jasper Wallace, Thank you for reporting this. I have already installed ubuntu 9.10, which has the new glibc version. (Ubuntu 9.10 is going to be released next week). Ubuntu 9.10 is thus the system which I made the .deb package for. If you want to build it yourself, you will have to install wx2.9 indeed. (It should be able to compile with wx2.8.10, but it doesn't run very nicely) Thank you for reporting this issue, I will build a 9.04 version as well.
