Although I haven't bought from them myself, http://www.futurlec.com seems to
be an excellent source. They have got all the parts at small volumes
and nice prices. For the RS232 connector, look under D-Subminiature
If you never built electronics yourself, you can probably need some
help from someone experienced around you. There can be things that are
a bit difficult to explain on e-mail.
