I'm using two sheevaplugs, one client one server, both running debian. I have encountered the following error when connecting to the server from the client:
debian:~# usbip -l 192.168.1.141
1-1: ATECH FLASH TECHNOLOGY : unknown product (11b0:6148)
: (Defined at Interface level) (00/00/00)
: 0 - Mass Storage / SCSI / Bulk (Zip) (08/06/50)
usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 224 (query_exported_devices) recv usb_device
usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 417 (show_exported_devices) query
debian:~# usbip -a 192.168.1.141 1-1
8 ports available
usbip err: vhci_driver.c: 458 (usbip_vhci_attach_device2) write to attach failed
usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 281 (import_device) import device
usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 362 (attach_device) query
I have no idea where to go from here. any suggestions?
No reply to this topic since a long time, but I have the same issue on a "Seagate FreeAgent" running Debian 6.
Any ideas or workaround would be great, thanks in advance,
