Trying to Understand Linux Client / Windows Server setup

So, from what I can gather, for a windows server, I need to use USB/IP for Windows (https://github.com/cezanne/usbip-win), correct? Then, for a linux side client, I need to use usbip-0.1.7.tar.gz (https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbip/files/usbip/0.1.7/usbip-0.1.7.tar.gz/download). Is that correct? That was the ONLY linux files I could find so... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Hey mate, the USBIP code is apparently in newer Linux kernels. Could you possibly post an update on how your implementation is set up now and it's status, as well as if you update it to work (if it wasn't before)?
I never actually figured out how to get it to work or what I needed to do and got sidetracked. I need to get back to that...
