I am going to be looking into trying to implement SSL support in usbipd. Obviously, for storage devices this would not be an optimal solution, however, implementing an SSL transport for HID based devices would be nice.
usbipd also needs ACLs as well, especially if one host wants to restrict access to certain usb devices.
This should be really fun to implement. This will be somewhat a work related project, but one that strikes my interest so of course I'll release this open source and probably be criticized a lot but, hey, at least I contributed!
