#8 Loader doesn't work with ALSA modules and M-Audio Oxygen 8

With Linux 2.6.17.14 the udev version of the loader (1.2) only works with ALSA compiled into the kernel, not as modules.

System: Debian Etch
Linux 2.6.17.14, AMD Duron (k7) (self compiled)
