Log Files

DLect creates 2 log files and a data file. These are located in a folder called .DLect which will be created in the same folder as the DLect.jar file. So if you left the file in your downloads folder you can expect the following layout:

Experiencing problems

If you are experiencing problems then you can usually just send the DLect-log.txt file as this contains most of the information that is needed. It does not contain your username, password or the encryption key for either of them(these are stored in DLect-data.xml).

**Note for Linux/Mac Users: ** The folder is hidden by default due to the naming convention. This is fixed in version 3.0.1.
