UPython 1.6 is out, now supporting (hoefully!) any UNIX operating system. Your system just needs to have Python (of course), and two utilities: uname and vmstat.
This new version has been tested on Linux and FreeBSD (2.2.16 and 4.0-RELEASE). Please feel free to test it on other operating systems and mail me (sena@decoy.ath.cx) with the result (beware that it will NOT run on Windows operating systems).
The new release is not yet available at the SourceForge project page (due to some problem with the SourceForge software), but you can download it either at ftp://upython.sourceforge.net/pub/upython/ or http://decoy.ath.cx/~sena/upython-latest.tar.gz .
