I found UPX Tool very easy and useful. It will be very
good if you can to make a structure like that, with
only a difference: instead of the line "filename and
path here", a space with many line (like in the
multiple compression function of UPX Shell)..bye and
good job!

I don't understand what you mean exactly.
Can you explain it more?
Thx.

this application http://sourceforge.net/projects/upxer/ is
very easy and useful...probably more than your. But your
application has a very useful feature, the multiple files
compression. In my opinion are both of them very good and
will be perfect a fusion of this two elements: an
application as easy as UPX Tool (you can use the same
source) but able to makes multiple files compression and not
only of exe and dll formats (may be with support of folders
drag&drop and not only single file).
This is my idea...bye!

UPXshell already supports single file compression.
If you go to the 'Open File' tab, you can click on the Open
button, and select your file.
This can be any file like
.exe, .dll, .ocx, .com, .sys, .dpl, .dbl, .scr, .acm and
.ax.
If you mean that i extend the feature of the MultiPack to
scan for all exceptable file extensions it supports.
So when you drag/drop a folder or file to the MultiPack
window, it lists all compressable files.
This can be done :).
It would be a nice new feature for UPXshell.
I will also make it possible to let it ignore sertain files
you don't want, so some kind of remove feature for the
files within the listview.
Thx for the idea (if that whas wat you ment).

My idea is this: you should work on UPX Tool source and make
a software more similar to that one (that is more easy to
use than your), but if you want to make a very good
application you have also to add the multiple files
compression feature, the support of other formats (.ocx,
.com, .sys, .dpl, .dbl, .scr, .acm, .ax) and the support of
drag&drop...
This is something like my idea:

I won't work on UPX Tool, for one, it is programed in
Visual Basic. Second, UPXshell is aimed to be advanced and
simple at the same time.
And i realy don't see the big difference between UPXshell
currently and UPX Tool, except that UPX Tool misses some
features that UPX offers like a 'brute' compress, and
putting in your own command-line arguments.
UPXshell supports everything that UPX Tool does and more.
And it is as easy has drag drop a file to the UPXshell
window, and press compress, thas all.
Also UPXshell already has MultiPack, check the 'Options'
tab on the bottom right, it only doesn't have a folder drag/
drop feature. But i will work on that.
