Never saw this problem with Uptime. Please keep me informed, if this
happens more frequently and if you can figure out that it only happens
with Uptime activated. You then should give me more information,
e.g. about the Palm OS version you are using.

I removed this feature with version 1.3.1 because there where too much
trouble with various PalmOSes. Baybe I can find a better way, than I
previously used, in the future ...

BTW: I mentioned this issue in the README.txt!

No, it is not a bug. It is a feature. I wrote a note into the ChangeLog:

 - Since PalmOS 3.3 it is not possible to change the battery type. :-(

The problem is the difference of the OS versions. Some support the
changing, some not. So I removed the code.

Hello,

First, thanks for a wonderful utility.  I had been using Uptime 1.1 for
about a year.  I just installed 1.3.1.  It seems to work fine (I now use
X-Master, not HackMaster).  The only bug is the battery type.  Selecting
another type does nothing.  The type remains Alkaline.  Not a problem for
me because I only use alkalines, but I wanted to let you know.
