i guess we should put up that at the moment, netscape seems to be the 
best (at the moment, mozilla doesn't make the icons go small, & stops 
me from being able to use keyboard shortcuts in other apps). is that 
also the case for the PC? i know that in OSX, safari was working 
really well. tony also used opera with good results.

yeah backdrops not persisting, nor are props

i guess it does suggest someone is there ... it's almost like we need 
some big banner saying "no performance on at the moment, these are 
stills/dummies/etc".

maybe we should also make a time for the walkthrough & put that on 
the site, so that people have something to put in their diaries & 
come back to later? how about thursday 29th january, & let's try to 
make 3 or 4 times to give people some options (we wouldn't all have 
to be there, but it would be good if there were at least 2-3 
colliders each time). it wouldn't be a performance, but a walkthrough 
& explaining the tools & perhaps just one stage for people to muck 
about on. we would need to give everyone a login, so again the 
different levels of login is a priority.
