Hi, there have been discussions within this list about the stalled development within this project several times. In most cases developers or potential developers and people that are related to projects using libupnp started these discussions. Here within the list it has been agreed that the maintainership could change easily to somebody who is able to start trough with this project. After all requests for a project takeover have been denied I decided to create a fork out of the current project. So now the new project is now available at Sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pupnp it has an own homepage (to avoid the slow sf.net-servers) at http://www.virtualworlds.de/upnp/ , CVS will be located at sf.net but isn't fully available yet. One main focus beside of the further development of it are porting the library to other operating systems so that it is able to become a standard for UPnP applications. Developers who are interested in helping with this project are greatly welcome, we'll of course try to avoid the problems that occured with the old project UPnP.
