#35 bc does not work on Windows 2003

bc.exe is not working on Windows 2003. I just tried the command at dos prompt. I type bc at press enter and I getting dos prompt after a second or two. it does not wait for input. I tried on several Windows 2003 servers and had the same result.

The Windows event viewer is logging this application error:

Faulting application bc.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.1830, fault address 0x0000f3a4.

I have the same problem with which.exe. Does anyone have a solution yet?
