#18 sort not case sensitive

I've tried setting the LANG enviroment variable. I
upgraded to the latest version. I noticed some people
talking about this problem in 2000. Is there a way I
can get sort to be case sensitive?

Why would there be a switch:
-f, --ignore-case
fold lower case to upper case characters

If the thing wasn't case sensitive?
